(WPAPP) | 우울감 증진 관련 연구 

저희는 현재 미국에 거주하는 중년 한인 여성들을 대상으로 우울감을 개선하기 위한 웹/앱 기반 생활 습관 신체 활동 

증진 프로그램에 대한 연구를 진행중에 있습니다. 저희는 본 연구에 참여하실 분을 모집하고 있으며, 참여기준은 

다음과 같습니다. 

1) 40세에서 65세의 한국계 미국 거주 여성으로서 

2) 부모님이나 조부모님이 한국인이며 

3) 몸을 많이 움직이지 않으나, 신체 활동이 어려운 장애 없으며 

4) 영어 또는 한국어를 읽고 쓸 수 있고 

5) 인터넷에 접속이 가능하며 

6) 최근 2주 안에 우울감을 경험한 분을 저희 연구의 참여자로 모십니다. 

참여 자격을 갖추고 연구 참여에 동의하신 분은 두 개의 그룹으로 무작위 배정됩니다. 

참여자께서 어느 그룹에 배정되었는 지에 따라 

1) 교육용정보를 사용하시거나 OR 2) 온라인 포럼 및 1:1 코칭/지지 프로그램에 참여하시게 됩니다. 

모든 참여자들은 3번에 걸쳐 설문지를 작성하시게 되며, 본 연구의 참여 기간은 총 12개월입니다. 

각 시점(시험 전, 6개월 후 및 12개월 후) 설문지 작성이 완료되면 귀하의 연구 참여에 대해 시점당 $50 (최대 3회) 

최대 $150의 기프트 카드가 수여됩니다. 프로그램의 전 과정은 온라인으로 진행되므로 시간/장소에 구애받지 

않으셔도 됩니다.(Fitbit도 함께 제공됩니다)

WPAPP-K: A Web-App Based Lifestyle Physical Activity Promotion Program to Improve Depressive Symptom Experience: Midlife Korean American Women

We are currently doing a study to help improve depressive symptom experiences among midlife Korean-American women in the US. We are looking for research participants, and the participation requirements are the following: 

1.  Are between 40 and 65 years old

2. Are of Korean descent through your parents or grandparents

3. Can read and write English or Korean

4. Are desk-bound, but not because of a physical disability 

5. Have access to and use email and the Internet 

6. Have had depressive symptoms in the past 2 weeks


Those who are eligible and agree to participate in the study will be randomly assigned to 2 groups. Depending on which group the participant is assigned to, they will either: 

1. Use educational information/resources OR 2. Participate in online forums and 1:1 coaching/support programs. 

All participants will fill out the questionnaire 3 times, and the participation period for this study will be a total of 12 months. Each questionnaire (pre-test, 6 month post-test, and 12 month post-test) is worth $50, and after completing all 3 questionnaires, you will get a $150 gift card for your participation in the study. The entire program is conducted online, so you do not have to worry about time/location. (Fitbit is also provided.)
